Jupiter

Jupiter is the solar systems giant vacuum cleaner because of its massive size, at 88,860 miles in diameter. But the largest planet found within our solar system is only orbiting about 500 million miles away from our planet, and or sun. At this distance it takes about 12 years for Jupiter to complete one solar orbit. Because Jupiter is just about large enough to become a “mine sun” it’s self this orange glowing planet has the ability to maintain an over heated core to surfaces temperature warming effect.  In fact Jupiter’s atmosphere is filed with hydrogen gas and jet streams moving about in two different equatorial directions at speeds eclipsing 500 mph.

Perhaps Jupiter’s is most  recognized by its famous, super size,  low pressure, tornado looking  region, rotating along within  its upper atmosphere year after year. Above this complicated atmosphere Jupiter also maintain both a deadly radiating collecting magnetic filed, in which to navigate around, as well as several planetary rings filling up with comic space dust. If that’s not enough of an obstacle course for us, Jupiter’s orbital system is also crowded over with 16 different moons of different sizes, shapes, atmospheres and magnetic / gravitational fields.

Because of its massive size Jupiter is one of the four giant planets who mass keeps their surfaces from truing into solids. Because of  this liquid  coved surface characteristic it is impossible for Blue Ridge Airlines to attempt any VTOL operations on it landscape, so  Jupiter’s complicated  moons, will house many of  our prefer “hard surface” landing destinations. Jupiter maintains a 1.308 degree inclination with an obliquity rotational angle of  3.12 degrees. Blue Ridge Nebula Airlines flat ecliptic approaches to this orbital plane of rotation is possible directly from the earth’s 0 degree solar orbit inclination.

However since it is much easier to regulate environmental living conditions, like gravity, temperature, and atmospheres, flying sky cities or orbital space stations will be where most of our passengers and their related cargo supplies will be headed to. This manmade, artificial, homesteading structure will be parked just outside Jupiter’s deadly magnetic radiation zone, or either close to each moons base center of population.

The time to travail to this mine sun’s complicated world will vary depending on Earth - Jupiter planetary routing pairs orbital distances and the time, seasons, of departure so fares will fluctuate accordingly.
